When I was your age, sharing love with one another felt natural. Life was full of both joyful and difficult moments we shared together. Sometimes I worry that the world you see feels different—that love has grown cold, and life feels like a battlefield where everyone has to compete just to be the best.
Even so, as you navigate the stormy years of adolescence in such a challenging world, I’m grateful that you’re growing up well. You may face many trials and mistakes along the way, but never forget that God is always there, firmly protecting and guiding you.
This year, I hope you’ll share even more love with those around you and shine God’s glory through kind and good deeds.

Jang-hyeon and Min-seo, I’m sorry for getting frustrated and raising my voice so often. I know you each have your own thoughts and are trying the best you can. I admit, I’ve let my own expectations get the better of me.
I love you and I’m here for you. Keep it up, my kids!

Thinking back to my own teenage years, when I was moody and easily frustrated, I’m amazed by how pure, kind, and thoughtful you are now. If you keep growing just as you are today, I couldn’t ask for anything more. I love you.

Right now, it might feel like the hardest time of your life. But once it passes, it’ll be like a cold you’ve recovered from—just a small part of your story. Don’t be too hard on yourself. I’ll always be right by your side, cheering you on. Let’s get through this together as a family.

Watching you grow and join the Student Group, building up blessings, I can truly see how your faith—once so young and innocent—has been growing step by step. I hope to continue seeing you practice love and consideration as you work together with your fellow student members. And most of all, I hope you’ll always be a child who gives thanks to God.

I always liked math because there was a clear right answer. But the world didn’t feel that way at all. It felt unfair, unreasonable, and full of contradictions.
I used to think, “If only my parents were richer . . . If only I were prettier . . . If only I were more popular . . .” Those thoughts slowly wore me down. Constantly comparing myself to others made the world feel even more unfair, and each day felt exhausting. There were times I wished morning wouldn’t come at all.
When I didn’t understand why life felt so painful, I met God. As I came to understand the soul and gained hope for heaven, I realized something important. Even when I thought I was completely alone in this world, Heavenly Father and Mother had been with me the whole time.
Sometimes I wonder if you see the world with the same questions I once had, asking, “Why does it have to be like this?” If you ever find yourself comparing your life to someone else’s, I hope it comes from a desire to share what you have. Sharing will only make your life richer. Above all, I hope you grow into someone who stays thankful as you walk with God. When life feels heavy, remember that God will always be your greatest strength. You’ve been doing so well, my daughter. Keep it up!

Right now, everything I say probably sounds like nagging to you. I felt the exact same way about Grandma when I was your age. But looking back, I sometimes find myself thinking, “I wish I had listened to her more.”
So could you try listening to me just a little more? Let’s walk this path of faith together, holding tightly to the hope of heaven and staying within God’s will. I’ll always be cheering you on, my dear children.

To my daughter, who has grown from a child into a wonderful teenager. I want to thank you for getting through this season of adolescence so well. I hope you’ll continue moving forward just as you are until you graduate from high school. There may be days that feel difficult or moments when frustration suddenly rises, but let’s overcome them together. Mom and Dad are always on your side!
