Even during Student Group gatherings, I would often mess around instead of focusing on the words of the Bible.
As time passed, I eventually became a senior to younger students at both school and church. One day, it suddenly occurred to me that I should set a good example as an upperclassman and a child of God. Even when I felt tired, I began waking up early to gather with Zion members at my school to pray and study the Bible before starting the day. Wanting to put God’s teachings about good deeds into practice, I also started picking up litter whenever I saw it at school. I carried cleaning tongs with me so often that I even earned the nickname "Tongs Girl."
The teachers noticed as well. The career counselor exclaimed, “Oh my! I had no idea we had such hidden gems in our school!” and even asked the other teachers, “If you see the students cleaning up the campus, please give them some snacks and plenty of praise.” That’s when I realized: when we strive to do what is right, God never fails to bless us.
Riding that momentum, I began practicing sermon preaching, choosing one topic each day. Starting with those presentations, I began pouring my heart into every aspect of my life of faith. There were some hurdles along the way, but because I didn't give up, God gave me another gift: I received an award at the “2025 School Opening Worship for Students.”
I remember walking up to the stage, choking back tears of deep emotion. That day, I received much more than just an award—I received immense comfort and inspiration. Deeply moved by the grace I had been given, I wanted to return that comfort and joy to God. After the service, I cleared out all the unnecessary apps on my smartphone and have been steadily studying God’s word ever since.
Looking back, I can see that God’s blessings have been shining in every corner of my daily life. He was always with me, leading me so that I wouldn't miss a single one. From now on, I won’t waste any more time. I will treat each moment like a precious gem and use it to gather blessings. By doing so, I know I will step into an even brighter and more brilliant future.
